Sugar and Spice

After a week's visit to Oklahoma, I flew Riley to Salt Lake City last Wednesday to meet up with Grandma Becky and await the arrival of her new baby sister. We had the most wonderful time and, confirmed what we'd known all along, that she is precious and has the kindest spirit imagineable. We crammed in as much fun as we could and still didn't get everything done we'd planned. We went to the zoo...bowled...ate Mexican food...visited Aunt Chelsea's work...gardened...fed the birds...and concluded the week with a tea party fit for a princess. The house is sadly quiet now. We miss the pitter patter of her little feet running down the hallway and jumping into our giant bed in the mornings to chatter while we have our morning coffee. Yes, sugar and spice and everything nice...that's what Riley's made of!
